A Pop/Country Ballad A Dedication to our troops returning home.
THE HOMECOMING By Sheri Jacobi C. S.J.
1) You made it home
the day has come
when the fate once undecided
is said and done
and tonight we're reunited
again as one.
Welcome Home
Honey can you fix the stove?
I could only keep one fire burning
It's been so cold.
It seems my everything stopped turning
when I was alone.
Bridge) I almost couldn't stand the hurtin'
to let you go.
And only one thing was for certain
I love you so.
Now with my tears on your shoulder
if the fears start to smolder
we can wish it all away
let it end.
Ch) It's okay
to pretend
I see a bit of
A Reggae song - A new coming of Civil Rights for All
KNOCKIN' AT YOUR DOOR
CH) I'm knockin' at your door
I'm back again
I'm knockin' at your door
It's your old friend
I'm knockin' at your door
I'm coming in
I'm knockin' at your door
It never ends.
1) In the name of glory is my story, is my fight
Still you stand before me bending justice, it just isn't right
And you pick and you choose who will win who will lose
You straddle the party line.
It's discrete what you to distort what is true
Like saying you're a friend of mine.
CH) I'm knockin' at your door
I'm back again
I'm knockin' at your

And
Sunday Afternoon, pajama day. I've been so bored. I'm glad I found this deviontart website where I can explore and critique art, and submit some of my Jewelry Works too. Now if I could post my Song Lyrics here it would be perfection. I suppose I could journal my Song Lyrics and see if I get some replies - why not? I hope I can get friendly with some folks here. Facebook killed my previous chat website lol! I had an online family of friends there - I miss that.
Thanks for visiting my page. I've only been here for a day. I did find a way to submit my song lyrics to my Gallery - Submit Art - then Enter Text. The body is Untitled though. I'll work on improving this. ~Sheri
